We are making a collaborative book all about the Future and it’s open for you to contribute your thoughts and get involved. We need to raise some cash to make it happen, and so we have launched a crowd-funding campaign so that you can back the book and be part of it’s creation. We are publishing our book! It a beautiful anthology that we will launch in Spring 2012. It will be on sale and we plan to present it to the Prime Minister and other leading politicians to remind them of The Future That We Choose.

We would like to invite you to contribute to it by illustrating one of the ‘futures’ that we have collected. We have a tight turnaround on this as we need all artwork to consider by 30th November.

If you are interested please email us with subject Artwork to info@thinkactvote.org and let us know which future you would like to work on. Please include a URL link to your portfolio or any work you have online. We only want one piece of artwork for each ‘future’ so we will let you know if it is still available. (Ones marked pink have already been chosen by an artist.)

You will need to send the finished artwork at large scale and 300DPI by the deadline. All artwork will be featured on our website, and subject to editing in the book too! You will receive a full credit for your work online and in print, and retain the copyright.

The interviews are coming in thick and fast and whilst we’re super excited about this we really don’t want the older stories to be lost in a digital archive. We want to pause for a moment and capture some of the best responses we’ve had in a book, all about the future.

We are making this book with your help. In the book, insightful interview responses and stories will be presented alongside the work of visual artists, designers, illustrators and photographers, and will feature among some leading thought pieces.

The final book will be published in Spring 2012 and will available to buy as a limited edition. We’re also planning to present both the project and book to the British Prime Minister and leading politicians, to raise awareness of a new collaborative and creative future.

Everyone who take parts by the end of january will have their answers put forward for The Futures Book. All interviews will be featured on our website unless you ask us not to (Please spread the word as this is an on going project – we have 7 billion people to ask!)
